Using the Thermal Spa
Before using the Thermal Spa Experience we recommend you shower in the locker rooms in order to remove any residual products from your skin. This will ensure you obtain the maximum benefit from the experience and limit any possible reaction from skincare applications.Commence the Thermal Spa Experience in the Hot Rooms. These consist of a sequence of hot dry air rooms with temperatures varying from moderate to intense heats. They are designed to relax you and alleviate muscle tension and pain.
- Tepidarium, a mild warm room 50-60°C
- Once acclimatised you can enter the Caldarium, a hotter room 70-80°C
- Then head to the Laconium, the hottest room at 80-110°C.
There are Kneipp Hoses to cool down your hands and feet whilst relaxing! Then enter the Sauna cabin (dry heat) or Aroma Steam Rooms (moist heat) to further extend your heat experience.
After about 15 minutes, and at regular intervals thereafter, re-hydrate and cool the body by immersing in the Plunge Pool or rub the body with crushed ice flakes from the Ice Fountain. Then rest in the Hammam area and drink plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration. Infused waters are available in the Relaxation Lounge.
